Angela Davis had THE afro! Loved it! But Sam Jackson with ‘fro only adds to the effortless cool.
Personally, I would have *picked* Angela’s fro as my no. 1 😉 and given a nod to the revolutionary woman from Sidney Lumet’s classic Network.
Tamara Dobson in Cleopata Jones had a perfectly round fro too… But yes, Pam Grier’s was sexier.
